The Systec Mediaprep series comprises automatic media preparators designed for the preparation, sterilization, and sterile dispensing of liquids such as agar culture media, peptone water, and buffer solutions. These devices are available in seven sizes, accommodating volumes from 10 to 120 liters.

Key Features:

• Enhanced Heating and Rapid Cooling: Equipped with powerful heating elements for swift heating and a rapid cooling system that circulates sterile demineralized water around the media vessel’s external walls, cooled via an external heat exchanger. This design ensures total cycle times, including heating, sterilizing, and cooling, range between 60 and 120 minutes, depending on vessel size, media volume, and cooling water temperature.
• Intuitive Operation: A 5.7-inch touch display provides simple and intuitive control. The system comes with seven predefined programs, with the capacity to create and save up to 100 custom programs. The fully programmable microprocessor control unit ensures consistent and repeatable media quality throughout the automatic process.
• Safety and Quality Assurance: Features include an integrated compressor for sterile-filtered support pressure during the cooling phase, a safety valve for pressure relief if thresholds are exceeded, water level protection, overtemperature protection, and continuous mixing via a magnetic stirrer. These elements collectively ensure the production of high-quality sterile media.
