The KNF RE 212 FW-G rotary evaporator is designed for efficient and user-friendly operation in laboratory settings. The device features an intuitive digital display and offers a wide rotation speed range from 5 to 315 rpm, accommodating various applications, including powder drying and suspensions. Notably, the evaporation flask can rotate in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions.

For enhanced versatility, two compact heating baths are available: a standard water bath with a temperature range of 10–90 °C and an optional oil bath capable of reaching temperatures between 10–180 °C. The heating bath can be positioned on either the right or left side, catering to user preferences. Additionally, an optional protective cover for the heating bath is available to enhance safety during operation.
